Bustle Bride: Kelsey Brown Sizemore

It was a beautiful August day when Bustle bride Kelsey Brown Sizemore and her hubby Josh began their happily ever after! Kelsey and Josh met a few years ago through a mutual friend who was Kelsey's roommate at the time. The pair quickly became friends and saw each other at church pretty often, then started dating a year later!

“The whole day was so fun- my favorite part was being with all of our favorite people! It’s amazing to have all of your friends and family together to celebrate you- really humbling. All the bridesmaids and family got ready together at my parents house and I loved sharing that time with all the girls. Josh and I both agree that the music during our ceremony was one of our favorite parts of the day. Several great friends from church played during our ceremony and it was so beautiful and really meaningful for us! ”

Kelsey was such a joy to have in our store, and we so loved helping her find her dream dress! At the end of the day, she couldn't see herself in anything other than her Lis Simon chiffon halter gown.

Bustle Bride: Rachael Thompson Panik

To kick off the beginning of the month, we have a new Bustle Bride to feature - Rachael Thompson Panik! Rachael and her husband William began their happily ever after on a lovely August day. 

Rachael and William said "I do," at the beautiful Faith Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL. Our lovely bride looked nothing short of ravishing in her Romona Keveza Vneck satin gown. The pleated bodice and modified a-line skirt was the perfect style for Rachael, and we couldn't be happier that she found her gown at Bustle!

“Our officiant was our pastor who has known us for a long time, so having him officiate our wedding was so sweet and joyous. It was wonderful to be totally surrounded by our closest friends and family members while we had a close friend and mentor help us recite our vows together. I also loved overlooking Birmingham during our wedding reception at Vulcan. We love the ‘Ham, so it was just perfect to have an amazing view of the city while we celebrated being married!”

Charlie Party

The Charlie Party at Bustle on December 3rd gave us a chance to feature some of our favorite man-stuff. We had some of the greatest local artisans in Birmingham selling their merchandise and delivering high-fives. Charlie Birmingham launched their new line of pocket squares, Salence featured their incredible outerwear, Huckstraps brought their 100% recycled thermoplastic belts, ML Leather sold all types of leather goods and we did have something for the ladies... Kate Morris was there with her line of beautiful jewels and gems!

Not only were there tons of manly gifts to choose from, we also had some yummy bites from Happy Catering Co., custom cocktails by Noah McCullough, fresh coffee from Fivezies, and the best beats from DJ Coco. It was a wonderful night to say the least.
