Bustle Bride: Taylor Lindsey Bruin

Taylor Lindsey Bruin is our newest addition of Bustle Brides, and we couldn't be happier! Taylor and her husband Chris said "I do," while surrounded by mountains on June 24th on a breathtaking ranch in Jackson Hole, WY where the sweet couple first met!

Taylor and Chris met in Jackson Hole shortly after she moved there for a job. She did not plan on meeting anyone while she lived there, but Chris introduced himself one of her first weeks at Cornerstone Church, and they seemed to have the same interests. "Before you knew it, I was falling hard for this guy!" He lived in Idaho Falls, so they would see each other on the weekends. They spent nearly every weekend camping, hiking, or exploring in the mountains as this was something they both loved to do. In December, Chris planned an incredible proposal at the top of a mountain in Salt Lake City, where both of their families were hiding out, and Taylor said yes!

Taylor was an absolute dream in her Olia Zavozina a-line lace gown, and we can't get over the photos from her big day - even horse jumped in their photoshoot which made for some truly majestic photos!

My favorite part of the wedding was having everyone from all the different stages of our lives come together in one place. Everyone that said they wanted to visit us was able to come out and see Jackson Hole and celebrate with us. Our church community in Jackson Hole really pitched in to help everything come together, and the whole day was a representation of the gospel at work. It was easily the best day of our lives for so many reasons, and we are so thankful to be on this journey of marriage together!

Bustle Bride: Claire Hovater Jackson

Our newest Bustle Bride is Claire Hovater Jackson and we couldn't be happier! Claire and her husband Daniel began their forever together on May 6, 2017 at the beautiful Hargis Wedding Chapel in Chelsea, AL.

Claire and Daniel's love story began long before they started dating. They grew up going to the same church and Claire was best friends with Daniel's sister, Erin, and their parents were long time friends. So Claire grew up around Daniel, but since he was a few years older, they didn't really know each other until she began working with his mom after she started college. Claire always had a little bit of a crush on him, and Erin knew so when Daniel moved back to Birmingham, she played cupid and would invite Daniel and Claire over for dinner at the same time at her parents house to get to know each other. One thing led to another, and one night in December Daniel told Claire he liked her. They started officially dating after that, and the rest is history!

We so loved being part of Claire's wedding gown decision. She was such a joy to have in the store, and she has the most genuine heart. She was nothing short of stunning in her Anne Barge strapless ballgown with full tulle skirt. We are swooning over her photos from her special day!

I was in my dressing room up until the wedding pictures and first look, and I didn’t go out of the dressing room in case Daniel saw me. But every time he would pass the room, someone would say “There goes Daniel, don’t let him see you!” in a playful way and my heart would skip a beat. Every time I thought of him the whole morning my heart would just flutter. When I finally saw him turn around and smile at me for the first time, I was so at ease and so happy that nothing else mattered. I was just so incredibly thrilled and grateful that I was getting to marry him and be with him forever.

Bustle Bride: Heather Pike Tate

We are over the moon to announce that our new Bustle Bride is the beautiful Heather Pike Tate. Heather and her husband, Corbitt, began their forever together on a lovely June day. Heather and Corbitt said "I do," in Birmingham, Alabama at Bridgestreet Gallery and Lofts.

Football brings people together, especially in the south, and Heather and Corbitt's love story is no exception. Heather attended an Auburn and UGA football game with a friend who knew Corbitt and his family. They stopped by his family's tailgate, and he and Heather met and hit it off. Two weeks later they ran into each other again at a charity event and, as Heather says, "the rest is history.

Heather fell in love with a gorgeous Augusta Jones fit & flare gown, and she looked nothing short of stunning on her special day. We so enjoyed having Heather in our store, and we're so glad she found her gown at Bustle! She had such kind words about her Bustle experience. "The dress buying experience at Bustle was so easy and fun.  Meredith is a true gem of a person and got me as a person and my style.  I had the actual, "this is it" moment which is not my personality."

Everyone told me the ceremony was going to be a blur but I remember being very present the whole time. It was the best feeling ever, hearing and speaking the vows. The second and close second is watching Corbitt tear up the dance floor while Tim Tyler played, just like his college years. It was hilarious and so fun!

Bustle Bride: Jacquelynn Myrick Dunn

Jacquelynn Myrick Dunn is our newest Bustle Bride! She and her hubby, Chris, began their happily ever after on a gorgeous fall day! On her special day, Jacquelynn wore a fit & flare gown that had the most stunning lace detail. She was an absolute dream when she said, "I do." We're so thankful we had the chance to help her find the perfect dress!

When Jacquelynn and Chris were planning their wedding, they chose 3 values that they wanted to plan, not only their wedding day, but also their lives around. First was a life abundant by worshipping Christ, the second was a life filled with family and friends, and lastly was a life characterized by fun and adventure!

When I walked down the aisle with my dad I could hear the band playing the instrumental to my favorite hymn “Be Thou My Vision,” saw over 350 of our friends and family in the garden to support us, and giggled as I saw my groom squinting at me in the bright sunlight. Our first kiss as husband and wife was the most perfect kiss of my entire life! This moment encompassed everything I had hoped our wedding day and life would reflect.

Bustle Bride: Caitlin Ogren Green

Our first Bustle Bride Feature of the month is Catilin Ogren Green! Caitlin and her hubby, Andrew, said, "I do," on a beautiful Friday evening in May. They both wanted a wedding with a more intimate atmosphere, so they had 31 family members in attendance for the ceremony, then extended the celebration with friends on the following Saturday!

Bustle owner, Meredith, helped Caitlin find her dream dress! She chose a gorgeous strapless lace gown by Essence of Australia, and she looked absolutely radiant on her special day!

I’d say one of the best parts of the day was having such a relaxing and enjoyable day. We loved having a small intimate dinner with just our family, then we met up with all of our friends at Otey’s after dinner. We had another small party on Saturday night at my in laws house with Saw’s BBQ and Big Spoon Creamery catering. We had a blue grass band, and it was again another amazing relaxed evening with family and friends.

Bustle Bride: Helen White Lee

This week's Bustle Bride Feature is the beautiful Helen White Lee! Helen and her hubby, Hunter, became officially Mr. & Mrs. on May 28! They said, "I do" at The Nest in Avondale and had their wedding planned through Tiny Weddings Bham!

The couple knew that they wanted an intimate wedding, so they invited immediate family and their closest friends that made up 25 guests! Helen explained, "we were able to laugh and giggle at the alter together, recite personal and heartfelt vows to one another, and enjoy our special day with those who have been with us throughout the course of our relationship."

Our sweet bride chose a gorgeous Ivy & Aster gown that fit her oh so beautifully on her special day. She looked nothing short of stunning, and we're so glad we had the opportunity to help Helen find the gown of her dreams! She has the sweetest smile and the most genuine spirit, and we absolutely loved having her in our store!

Hearing the vows Hunter wrote to me was by far the greatest part of my wedding day— hearing the person you love most stand in front of a (small) crowd and promise you forever, no matter what it takes, gives you a whole new perspective on what God’s purpose for marriage actually is. In that moment I had a clearer vision of my life than ever before, and a greater love for my husband than I had ever experienced up to that point. I truly believe that the entire day was perfectly orchestrated by God, because it was everything we ever dreamed it would be and more.

Bustle Bride: Jessica Lewis Whitfield

The beautiful Jessica Lewis Whitfield is our newest Bustle Bride! She and her hubby, Daniel exchanged their vows on a gorgeous March day in Avondale, Alabama. They had such a special ceremony with Jessica's precious daughter as the flower girl. During the ceremony, Daniel made his vows to Jessica, then he made a vow to her daughter and gifted her with a necklace. It was an intimate and heartfelt moment for the family.

Jessica looked nothing short of amazing when she and her daughter began their happily ever after with Daniel. Her wedding gown by Watters looked like it was made for her; it was a match made in bridal heaven. The lace detail is incredible! We had such a great time helping this sweet bride find the gown of her dreams.

My absolute favorite part of the day was our ceremony. Everything about it was perfect. From his vows, which he started with “Dear Darla” from the little rascals, one of our favorite movies and something we joked about for months. And especially the very end right before the pastor said “you may now kiss your bride” my daughter, who he is raising as his own, ran up and hugged him. So we were all together as a family for our first kiss. It was so special!

Bustle Bride: Sarah-Kate Masters Roberts

Our newest Bustle Bride, Sarah-Kate Masters Roberts, has such a unique wedding story and some of the most beautiful pictures to compliment!

Sarah-Kate's husband, Robb, is of Scottish descent so they decided to tie the knot on a beautiful island in {you guessed it} Scotland. The Isle of Islay is home to around 4,000 people and because of the size of the island, there is only one baker, one florist, etc. so the whole town played a part in Roberts big day!

Sarah-Kate chose a gorgeous Jim Hjelm lace gown with delicate gold lame threading. It suited her perfectly, and she paired it with a beaded veil from Bustle that added the perfect final touch. This sweet bride was an absolute dream when she and her hubby began their happily ever after, and we're so thankful she said "yes" at Bustle!

P.S. Her photos are unreal and we can't get enough of the picturesque location!

Our entire Islay experience was truly magical. Twenty-six of our closest family and friends made the trip with us, and we were able to spend four days together making incredible memories. It’s hard to explain the mystical beauty and timelessness of the island, other than to say that visiting Islay changes people. The wedding day was filled with an outpouring of love and joy. Our favorite part of the day had to be the very end. Our reception ended with singer Angela Patterson and her band playing “Auld Lang Syne.” We all gathered in a circle, held hands, cried, and sang as the song played slowly. Towards the end Angela took the beat up. We all joined in, finishing the song singing, yelling, clapping, and cheering. It was a moment of complete happiness, knowing that we had shared Islay and that day with the most important people in our lives.

Bustle Bride: Trina Cobb Ware

Our newest Bustle Bride is the beautiful, Trina Cobb Ware. She and her hubby, Brian, began their happily ever after on a beautiful May day. Their wedding day was made a little *extra* special as Trina's parents are in the process of building a wedding venue in Sterrett, Alabama. The venue is set on 41 acres and will feature "stylish barn wedding weekends." Trina and Brian were the first to say "I do" at the inaugural wedding for the new family venture.

Trina was such a joy to have in our store. Bustle owner, Meredith, was Trina's consultant and she pulled out all the stops to help Trina find the gown of her dreams! She said "yes" to an incredible Temperly London gown, and it couldn't have been a more perfect fit for the beautiful bride! It literally fit PERFECTLY. We're so thankful we got to be just a small part of Trina's special day, and we are seriously loving her photos.

Not one moment was shy of incredible. From marrying the most amazing man, being the first to get married at my parent’s beautiful venue, the “first look”, to everyone cutting loose and having so much fun at the reception, I can’t pick just one favorite part of this day. Every single moment was amazing and so full of love.

Bustle Bride: Hayden Hurst Creel

This week we are overjoyed to feature Bustle Bride Hayden Hurst Creel! Hayden and her hubby Stone tied the knot in March, and she was definitely #bridalgoals!

Hayden has a fun and unique style, and we wanted to help her find a gown that fit her personality perfectly. She said "yes" to a fabulous Ivy & Aster gown, and she looked nothing short of stunning on her special day. From the hair and makeup to the dress and bouquet, she tied everything together so beautifully and we can't stop ooing and ahhing over her bridal portraits.

We can't get over this sweet couple and the love between them that is oh so evident! We're swooning over all of the precious moments that were captured on the day they began their happily ever after!

My favorite part of our day was the first look. For some reason I was so nervous and anxious all morning. Hoping my makeup, hair and dress were good enough (which of course Stone did not care.) I was hoping the food, cake and decorations were all coming together. As soon as I saw Stone I was so relaxed. I didn’t care about how cold it was or that there was a 90% chance of rain. I finally realized that it was really happening, we were getting married!
